King Melrose impresses with his talent, his contagious energy, his extravagance and his unique signature. Since his appearance in the Quebec musical landscape, the singer-songwriter has become a master in the art of composing songs that you never tire of humming. King Melrose released their self-titled debut album in 2014.
The play Save me from you opened a door for him on the radio and since then he has continued to accumulate radio hits. In 2015, he released his second album “Bleu” and received a mention from SOCAN for his #1 hits with the songs Tentation, Ça se danse and Ne me let pas chute. He then launched the piece Libre de s'aimer, which earned a place in the top 10 of the BDS charts. King Melrose is continually in demand for radio performances and invited to perform or lend his music on several popular television shows. He was called upon to open for Francis Cabrel, Julien Clerc, Carla Bruni during their stay in Quebec, in addition to those of Christophe Maé.
In the summer of 2018, we can hear on the radio the piece Lulu, followed by L'amour me miss in the winter of 2019, the first excerpts from his third album. King Melrose's 3rd album will be released in October 2019. Requests for interviews, reviews and promotions abound. He released the excerpts C'est la fête and Je (Wild & Free) which sat at the top of the radio charts for 8 weeks. King Melrose is called on tour for this new album but due to the pandemic, everything has to be postponed. While waiting to find his audience, the artist does countless virtual shows. He is also called upon by several major radio and media networks (TVA, Cogeco, Bell) to perform in virtual mode.
Since the release of its very first album, King Melrose has multiplied shows all over the province. With 3 albums to his credit, 11 radio singles, 4 SOCAN plaques, more than a thousand shows and stage appearances across the province, the charismatic stage beast is in preparation for the release of an EP in the winter of 2022.
